Competition watchdog vetos local marriage

Here's a tongue-in-cheek story from The Daily Grind that will (no doubt) bring a smile to your face:
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) today dashed the plans of local people John Smith and Jane Doe to merge their lives.

Their proposed marriage was ruled to be an "exclusive and unfair" arrangement barring competitors from access to their bodies, in breach of tough new anti-monogamy laws.
