Please bear with me while I fiddle around with the themes Blogger provides. It's really hard to get a feel for what a theme is like unless you implement it for a couple of days so I will be trying out a few different looks before finally settling on one. Feedback is welcome.

I think the previous one was nicer - but that may be a function of me using mac/firefox. This one does strange stuff to parts of Rafe's posts in particular - unless it's just coding that needs cleaning up.
Rafe's most recent OSE post still looks funny, and we seem to have lost our links to other sites.
I liked the spotty one.
The quotes in Rafe's latest post still need fixing, I think - although the rest of it seems okay now. Maybe that's just a coding problem... I think you've fixed his (and my) posts up before.
Is it possible to design your own?

Yes it's just a coding problem that seems to happen with blogger, particularly when you quote stuff.
I'm sure it's possible to design your own but rather than do that it'd probably be better to migrate to Wordpress (saves time anyway!) if none of these suit.
Or maybe I'm just too fussy...
sl: I'm off to bed - I'll give you admin rights so you can have a look at the themes available (there's a preview option too).
If you can make Wordpress work efficiently, and can preserve all our material, and can leave a placeholder/redirection here, then maybe that's the way to go.
BTW our links appear to have gone west again.
I'll have to hit the hay as well... I'll have a fiddle in the morning & see what I can do. I don't think I have the skill to fix Rafe's quoted material though.
